Ignite started meeting in a house downtown a few blocks away from UofL. We quickly out grew our space and prayed for a space on campus.
Ignite started meeting in Floyd theater on UofL's campus to accommodate more people! We transitioned to meeting online during quarantine.
Once Ignite was able to meet in person Fall 2020, we met in a pizza restaurant's space on Card Towne Boulevard. It is directly across from campus and dorms.
Ignite needed a larger space for worship. We were able to meet in The Avenue Room, the end of Card Towne, along with the 323 Card Towne space for smaller events!

I. We believe in the Triune God – Father, Son, Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
II. We believe that Jesus, the Son of God came and took on flesh to live among us (John 1:14). Jesus, being fully God and fully man in every way, was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life (Heb 4:15). By living a perfect life Jesus became for us our only hope for salvation (John 14:6).
III. Jesus, being put to death on the cross died the death we deserved to atone for our sin. He was raised from the grave by the power of the Holy Spirit, defeating death and assuring our future bodily resurrection (Hebrews 2:14-18, 1 Corinthians 15:52-55).
IV. We are reconciled to God through faith in Jesus Christ uniting ourselves in his death and resurrection (Romans 6:5-8) We are reconciled to God by no merit of our own but by the atoning work of Christ alone (Eph 2:8-9).
V. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to regenerate and dwell in Christians, establishing the Church—the worldwide community of believers (John 14:26, John 20:22).
VI. Through the power of the Spirit, the Church exists both as an outpost of the Kingdom of Heaven (2 Peter 2:9-12) and as a means through which the message of Christ’s salvation reaches the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
VII. We believe in the Church of Jesus Christ, consisting of all Christians everywhere, yet organized into local assemblies called churches (Ephesians 1:22-23). Churches are responsible for oversight, instruction, edification, discipline, and restoration of Church members. The primary purpose of the Church is to worship God and glorify him by equipping believers to reach the world with the Gospel (1 Corinthians 1:2).
VIII. We believe that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman joined by God as one flesh to image forth the unbreakable heavenly covenant between Christ and His Church. God instituted the marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5-6, Mark 10:6-9, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9).
IX. We believe that God fearfully and wonderfully created each person as male or female. These two sexes are distinct, complementary genders that reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:27).
X. Missions is the overflow of the transforming love within Christians expressed by carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 10:13-15, 2 Timothy 4:5). Once the fullness of this mission has been carried out in the Father’s eyes, Christ will come again to judge the world, restore all things, and fully institute the Kingdom of God (Acts 3:21).
