06 - Our Story
12 Students Started Praying For Campus
It began in 2019, and God has been building something ever since. Here's how we got here.
What began with just 12 students in 2019 has become 335 engaged with the good news of Jesus just this past school year. 27 students have been baptized in the past 23 months.
2019
Ormsby Ave
12 students started praying for UofL. With no place on campus, we gathered in a house in Old Louisville for prayer and acoustic worship - soon 60+ students were packed into a living room.
2020
Floyd Theater
We gathered on campus for the first time in Floyd Theater, hearing students share stories of life change - until quarantine shut everything down. So we kept praying.
2021
Topp't
A board member connected us with the owner of Toppt, who donated part of the storefront in Cardinal Towne so we could keep worshipping together.
Since then
1831 & Campus
Each week we meet on campus for worship seeking to reach those close to us who are far from God. In addition we have a campus home for Bible studies, parties, and everything in between.
